40 media guests from regional and local key media attended the exclusive preview of AXOR Uno and hansgrohe kitchen sink combinations at Hansgrohe Boutique from 2pm onwards. Upon arrival, they were invited to create their shower gels, a nod to hansgrohe’s reputation as a leading reputation of showers. Guests were also welcomed to the calligraphy booth, where they could request for quotes or phrases to be inked beautifully for them by a calligrapher. A wide assortment of delectable canapes satisfied their taste buds.

Mr KC Lee, Managing Director, Hansgrohe Singapore, delivered a short welcome speech to the 40 media guests, followed by a presentation of the new AXOR Uno and hansgrohe kitchen sink combinations by Isabelle Oh, Assistant Manager, Branding & Public Relations.

By the evening, the Hansgrohe Boutique was beautifully transformed into a dazzling venue, promising a night of endless fun for guests from the real estate and design industry.

The AXOR Uno collection is about minimalism at its best: two precisely shaped cylinders joined together at a right angle. The spouts and handles are available in radical or gently rounded versions. The precise contours and the raised proportions in the golden ratio of the taps are their defining stylistic features.

Operation of the AXOR Uno taps has been reduced to the essential: the flow of water is started or stopped by pressing the Select button, by turning the so-called “Zero” handle, or by lifting the ergonomically shaped loop handle. AXOR Uno is the quintessence of the Purism movement: clean, minimalistic, subtle.

“From our many years of experience and our expertise in kitchen mixers we know what it takes to make the sink area a highly functional kitchen centrepiece,” says Jan Heisterhagen, Vice President Product Management, Hansgrohe SE. “That’s why as of now, hansgrohe will be offering high-quality, built-in sink units that feature an impressive combination of design and function. In developing them, we were guided by the question of how people use water in the kitchen.”

hansgrohe built in sink combinations offer a choice of two innovative control concepts, making daily kitchen chores easier. The water control unit has been separated from the tap and placed at the front right-hand side of the sink rim. This offers all users, regardless of age, height, and even physical disability, added convenience.

The new hansgrohe sBox is the ‘secret star’ of the convenient all-in-one units, comprising a high-quality kitchen sink with a matching tap and an intelligent two-hole operating concept. It is an inconspicuous flat box, which stows the hoses of the pull-out spray tap, keeping the cabinet under the kitchen sink tidy. This protects the hose from being bumped into by drawers and waste bins, and ensures comfortable, smooth and quiet operation. In addition, the sBox offers greater freedom of movement: this means, for example, that you can conveniently fill pots without placing them in the sink. Moreover, the hansgrohe sBox has multifunctional mounting brackets for flexibility when installing in base cabinets.

The AXOR UNO collection, as well the sink combinations were developed in cooperation with the renowned Phoenix Design studio based in Stuttgart.
