Planting natural grass or other plants requires a certain depth of soil for the roots of the plants to take hold and allow the plant to flourish. So what do you do when you do not have enough depth for soil at a roof-top installation? In the case, the architects turned that into an opportunity to play around with artificial turf to create an interesting roof-top pattern.

The architects of this project decided to have fun with the artificial turf and created a pattern out of the 9 types of landscaping artificial turf that GreenTurf stocks. To add colour to the roof-top, they created a planter that will house beautiful flowers. We can only imagine the riot of colours on the roof-top when the flowers bloom.
